Most of my work is done on site. However, remote support is a useful option.
LogMeIn.com is good for frequent connections and it requires being setup. I recommend it for accessing your work computer from home. I recommend it over gotomypc.com simply because it offers a free version. You have to pay if you want "advanced" features like remote printing and sound which is usually not necessary. I use GoTOAssist.com for remote support. It's fast and used by the big boys like Dell. It installs quickly through a browser. Another approach is showmypc.com or skyfex.com which I used to use for remote support until using gotoassist.com
